Animal Crossing: New Horizons turnip prices follow one of four patterns. Knowing each pattern's characteristics helps you make more accurate predictions on this turnip prophet tool.

The most profitable pattern. Peak occurs TueβFri afternoon and can reach up to 6Γ the purchase price. Watch for high Large Spike probability to time your sale.
π Small Spike
Second most profitable pattern. Peak is roughly 2Γ the purchase price. A single spike occurs sometime between Tue and Sat.
π Fluctuating
Prices oscillate within Β±40% of the purchase price. Peaks are lower but the pattern is stable, minimizing losses. The most common pattern.
π Decreasing
Prices keep falling from Monday onward. Hard to recover the purchase cost β sell early or wait until next week.

How do I use the turnip calculator?
Enter your Sunday purchase price (90-110 Bells) from Daisy Mae, then add the morning and afternoon prices Nook's Cranny shows from Monday through Saturday. The calculator computes the probability for each of the 4 patterns (Large Spike, Small Spike, Decreasing, Fluctuating). More price data points yield more accurate predictions.
Does this work with Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch 2 Edition (Ver.3.0)?

When should I sell during a Large Spike pattern?
Large Spike has a single 4-hour peak window between Tuesday afternoon and Friday afternoon, reaching about 6Γ purchase price (e.g. 100 Bells β ~600 Bells). The peak lasts only one time slot. When the calculator gives Large Spike 80%+ probability, sell immediately at the first significant price rise.
